Stage fright is very common with every performer especially if their audience is expecting something great from them. You started to feel nervous little by little, shaky and to the point that you can’t make it performing with so many crowds.
Apart from using Professional karaoke machines to improve and boost your personality as a singer, there are still ways to fight for your stage fears and let your real talent shines. Make sure that you are really devoted and willing to follow these given tips.
1. Start relaxing your body. One of the simplest ways to overcome a stage fright is to relax your body before the performance. Release the tension in your body so that it will definitely help your voice to become steady and could relax your mind. Instead of thinking too much, why not do the vocalizations and think that you can make it. Be focused! If there is something bad happen during the performance, don’t panic! Remember that you have a relax mind to think easily of the possible solutions to cover up the mess.
2. Do the meditation. It is also advisable to meditate early in the morning of your performance day. But if you can’t make it early in the morning, any time of the day before your grand performance. Look for a quiet place, close your eyes, and focus on your breathing as you relax your whole body.
3. Get rid of too much intake of caffeine. There’s no issue about it, but it is not recommended to take caffeine on the day or before the performance. Neither will not help your performance nor give you extra energy, but to tell you honestly it will actually make you feel more nervous at all times.
4. Laugh as if it will be the last. Yes, it’s true. Laughing makes you better. Try to watch a comedy show or something that is funny. You could also spend some of your remaining times before the event with the person you really loved the most or with the funniest person in your area. For it will surely benefits you – relax your mind and forget nervousness.
5. Arrive ahead of time. As much as possible, go to the location of your performance as early as you can. It will help you to feel better if you arrive in the area that there still no audience filling up the room. Showing up early will ease the nerves and might lessen feeling being rushed and most importantly, you can have time to assess the area of your performance.
